Technician on Scene: May Grimm
At 2030 hours, call came from Grand Biloxi Casino Hotel and Casino from one Eric Atlas that model Lola Vanderelst had been found dead in her room, #416. She had been scheduled for a photography shoot with Mr. Atlas at 1915 hours. He checked the room at 2015 and called the police.
Time of death placed at 1700 hours by strangulation. DNA and trace evidence shows Eric Atlas was in the room and cameras in the hotel show him making his way to the room from his (#217), at the time of death. It was discovered by Ms. Grimm that the footage had been doctored. Further trace analysis showed other, as yet unidentified fingerprints in Ms. Vanderelst’s room.
While investigating Mr. Atlas’s room, an unidentified suspect (tall black man in a grey hooded sweatshirt) drew and fired at Officer Jones. The man fled, and in the ensuing chaos was able to escape.
That same night Max Cook, a known drug dealer out on parole, was found a few blocks away. He matched the description of the man that shot Officer Jones. Assistant Attorney General Diana Kralick is building a case against him for the murder of Vanderelst and the assault of Officer Jones.
